I. Discount hotel rates for GLOW in Asia VI
(including Workshop on Acquisition of Functional Categories & TEAL-4)
We have made arrangements with Regal Riverside Hotel and Harbour Plaza Metropolis for participants of GLOW in Asia VI, Workshop on Acquisition of Functional Categories, and TEAL-4.
Regal Riverside Hotel is conveniently located in the town of Shatin. The hotel is near to the train station at Shatin, which is two stops from the conference venue (The Chinese University of Hong Kong). The train ride takes approximately 10 minutes.
Regal Riverside Hotel is offering a discount room rate of HKD 630 per night, equivalent to approximately USD 80 (net, inclusive of tax and service charge) to participants of GLOW in Asia VI, if participants make the booking by November 15, 2007. The hotel runs a free shuttle service to and from the Hong Kong International Airport.

Harbour Plaza Metropolis is conveniently located next to the Hung Hom KCR Station. From the hotel, it is only a 20-minute train ride to The Chinese University of Hong Kong and only a 5-minute walk across a footbridge to The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. For those who may be interested, it is close to the Hong Kong Coliseum, the Hong Kong Museum of History, the Hong Kong Science Museum, and Kowloon's renowned Tsimshatsui East shopping districts.
For participants or attendees of GLOW in Asia VI, the Harbour Plaza Metropolis is offering a discounted room rate of HK$ 800 per night (approximately US$ 103) for a "superior room." II. Campus accommodation
We have reserved a limited number of rooms at the hostels of the Chinese University of Hong Kong which offer competitive rates. Reservation will be made on a first-come-first-served basis, and priority will be given to student participants of the conference. Please send booking requests for campus accommodation to glowasia@cuhk.edu.hk no later than November 15, 2007.
