(English version follows the Chinese version)   由本系陳啟揚教授籌辦的《粵語現代音樂交流會議》，獲選香港電台2023十大樂聞！   粵語現代音樂交流會議，主題為「以制約啟發創意」，於2023年四月在香港中文大學舉行。該會議包含了一系列音樂會、講座和研討會，探討各種形式的粵語現代音樂創作，包括合唱音樂和歌劇等等。參與人數超過700人，其中示範講座由陳啟揚帶領香港中文大學音樂系學生合唱團，解說粵語合唱創作。研討會邀請本地著名作曲家、劇作家、揮等，分享創作和演奏的心得。粵語合唱音樂會，邀請了香港兒童合唱團、香港新青年合唱團、Die Konzertisten，共演出了十二首粵語合唱作品，展示作曲家如何突破粵語「先詞後曲」的限制，創作出風格多變的音樂作品。  有關詳情，請瀏覽：https://app7.rthk.hk/special/musicheadlines2023/   Spearheaded by our composition faculty Prof. Kai-young Chan, "From Constraints to Creativity: A Conference on Cantonese Contemporary Music" is voted the "2023 Top 10 Music Headlines", an annual project organised by Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) Radio 4.     The "From Constraints to Creativity: A Conference on Cantonese Contemporary Music" was held in April 2023 at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The conference included concerts, a lecture demonstration, and a presentation session. Led by Kai-young Chan and the CUHK Music Student Chorus, the lecture demonstration showcased different approaches to Cantonese text settings in choral music. During the presentation session, notable composers, performers, and librettists shared insights on the creative and performance practices of Cantonese music. The highlight of the conference was the Cantonese Choral Showcase, featuring The Hong Kong Children's Choir, the Hong Kong Youth Choir, and Die Konzertisten. They performed works by 12 composers, including eight world premieres selected through an international call for scores. Over 700 participants attended the conference, which focuses on how composers can creatively approach Cantonese text-setting in choral music, opera, and other contemporary genres.    For details, please visit: https://app7.rthk.hk/special/musicheadlines2023/
