The International Poetry Nights in Hong Kong : Buoy event series, from Friday, October 17 to Sunday, October 19, 2025 will take place on CUHK campus.
International Poetry Nights in Hong Kong was founded by Bei Dao in 2009, co-organised by the Hong Kong Poetry Festival Foundation and the Faculty of Arts at CUHK. Over the past sixteen years, the event has gathered more than 200 international poets from five continents.
Fifteen poets from all over the world will gather and read their works surrounding the theme “Buoy” through a variety of public cultural activities. Events feature International Poetry Nights Reading, the “Dialogue of the Century” symposium, poetry forums, and more. We preserve a deep understanding of our native tongue while encouraging cross-linguistic conversation and keeping an international viewpoint.
