The Faculty of Arts at CUHK congratulates Professor LO Tien-chun (Department of Philosophy) on receiving the 2024 Young Researcher Award!
Professor Lo’s research interests lie in metaphysics and the philosophy of religion. He has been working on general metaphysical questions, e.g. grounding, modality, and identity, and various topics in the philosophy of religion, especially arguments for/against the existence of God and metaphysical/epistemological issues regarding divine attributes. His research has been published in both generalist and specialist journals, including Philosophical Studies, Analysis, Australasian Journal of Philosophy, Philosophical Quarterly, Noûs, Faith and Philosophy, and Religious Studies.
