The Art of CUHK 2023 (Phase II)
This exhibition features 21 students of the Master of Arts in Fine Arts contemporary
arts practice.
Exhibits included ceramic, ink-art, mixed-media, painting, photography, sculpture and
video art. This exhibition articulates one’s own ideas according to personal intuition and
practice so as to achieve self-expression in the cultural, material and spiritual realms
encompassed the essence of artistic creation.
The thematic approach of “Others” involves pushing the boundaries of creativity to
embrace our differences and express our sense of distance with others. Works of arts
are created to explore the relationship of self to others and connectivity with others.
By means of collaboration with others, it enhances mutual learning and broaden our
horizons for innovative works with unlimited possibilities.
