The following books are introductory books that can help student learn about anthropology.

–Consisting of 39 short articles, this book touches on major subfields and contemporary concerns of anthropology.

–A passionately argued book that shows how anthropology can play an important role in the most heated ethical and political debates of our time, and why anthropology matters to us all.

King, Charles. 2020. Gods of the Upper Air. Anchor.

–A history of the birth of cultural anthropology, which led to a fundamental reimagining of human diversity.
