I am a student in anthropology, a vegetarian blogger, chef, and serial entrepreneur. I consider the year 2015 a turning point in my life, in which year I became a vegetarian and determined to dedicate my life in advocating this lifestyle to the general public.

In 2016, after getting a MPhil degree in anthropology at CUHK, I went to Natural Gourmet Institute in New York to receive professional (plant-based) culinary training. I worked at several kitchens in New York and China since then. Meanwhile, I wrote vegetarian columns for lifestyle magazines, and translated a cookbook into Chinese.

My PhD research examines meat-eating and vegetarian diet practices in contemporary urban China.
