Introduction

Dr Judyta Olszewski (Jude) is a biological anthropologist/archaeologist who specialises in teeth and the maxillofacial region. She received her PhD from the University of Cape Town in South Africa, her MSc from Leiden University in the Netherlands, and her BA (Hons) from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada. In addition to her studies and research in these countries, she has also worked as an archaeologist and visiting faculty in Jordan, the Republic of Georgia, and the United States.
